Whats better, Canon or Sony?

Generally, I agree, Canon is a better manufacturer. Having said that, the Sony is rated slightly higher than this Canon, but the Canon is about $30 cheaper. The Sony has a better (quicker) first shot delay, and that can make a big difference in some shots. I loved my old DSC-30. Go for the Sony.
