What is the best way to cook frozen Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon?

Got some steak for christmas:) and now we have frozen bacon wrapped filet mignons. I would like to cook these on the stove top but have never cooked a steak so thick. They are very small maybe 3 inches across max and I am new to this:) Also, any suggestions for thawing? thanks in advance.
