Would "Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich" be a suitable book for me?

Haven't read this book in a long time, but the same fellow who wrote this book also wrote a shorter but similar book that I read in about 4th or 5th grade called "the Rise and Fall of Adolf Hitler" that was age appropriate for me back then as I recall....in fact, I think I got it from "Scholastic Books" back then...they sold paperbacks to school kids in the clroom back in the day via Weekly Reader or some similar type publication...the teacher would collect your money, and the books would arrive a few weeks later... I didn't look, but I suspect local libraries or amazon would still have copies of the shorter "kid" version...
