Why is suicide so much more common in rural areas?

well for your first question...i would think they are more suicides in rural areas because there is not as many people and also things for them to do....plus in rural areas you see alot more of discrimination(think thats right) there because its smaller and people arent use to variety of people unlike cities where there are more ppl and are very diverse....i mean alot of suicided is because ppl feel unwanted or feel like an outsider....then the reason i would say there are more suicides in the summer and spring is because those are the season most ppl do things with ppl and get out...so if ppl have no one to do things like that with they might get depressed and lonely.....where as in the winter i mean you still do things but you dont find as much you can do in the winter and fall as to in the summer and spring...being cold and dark has nothing really to do with someones feelings....at least i wouldnt think.....also maybe the reason more whites committ is because the others are used to being criticized and being put down or whatever...but one thing goes wrong in us we freak out and think the world is ending...which i mean they are like that too sometimes...but its just a theory.....hope you get something out of it...
