Radioactive iodine treatments?

My brother had it and had the iodine pill as well. He had to stay primarily away from children only.. and the animals.. I was told like three months.. and if her eyes are still big.. don't worry.. it will go away and she will certainly look normal again.. that will take up to several months as well. The goiter does get bigger but then it goes away.. she should start to see it within a couple of weeks. It's scary but once the limitations and restrictions are off.. she will be completely normal again.. she may even need the synthetic hormone ( synthoroid) daily but that is nothing.. My brother was perfectly fine after the radioactive drug. The experience of having the men in the white suits come in and take a pill out of a locked box was more scary to him than anything.. He thought twice about swallowing it. Medicine can be so fascinating huh?
