Is Rush right up there with Howard Stern?

I remember working on a house during the hot days of summer in Asheville NC. The lead carpenter always turned into Rush everyday. There was one day in particular when an irate guy called in and said "We should nuke the middle east and take the oil" Rush stated this was a good idea. Rush wouldn't be where he was at if he was actually dumb enough to believe that statement. That being said isn't Rush just manipulating you? Isn't he just giving you your daily feed of useless rhetoric much like Stern used to and still does pander to those who appreciate fart jokes and naked women they can't see. Isn't it all just an act? I suppose the true question is have you fallen for it hook line and sinker? Since he is so successful at it I guess you have.
