If I Open A Business And Report A Loss Do I Receive A Refund???!!!?

Im about to create a LLC for my recording studio and Ive been talking to different people about it, but ive become confused about reporting losses for 5 years and being able to receive a refund? If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it.
