I need another option to secure future happiness financially?

There’s not much binding you, you could see that as an opportunity if you dare to look at it like that. I would say: follow your bliss! You don’t have a responsibility for a family or partner yet, if there comes a time you will be short on the money you can sit it out with just a bit less comfort. Not a fancy apartment, not a expensive dinner, so what?! You are free, living your life. Try to find a job which makes you some money but gives you also time to pursue writing, and to maybe do some cheap traveling to find inspiration and joy. Don’t worry!! Spend little on unnecessary things, be responsible, but make choices that improve both your happiness in the future but also in the NOW. You sound responsible so I think you will do fine. If you really feel that pionate about writing, please WRITE!!!! You will be great. Pion is the most important ingredient for greatness. Be creative on how you can develop your writing skill on the way, maybe start a column about this dilemma and how you will pursue it… with all the tough parts, doubt, and hope.. I don’t know. If you can get it published in a magazine or newspaper, you’ve got some extra cash. Do the things you like, these are the things that will put a smile on your face each day, and that’s what attracts luck as well. Even if you don't find something you like right away, just get another job and continue looking for what you want and telling people, so when something better arrives, you will know right away. And did I already mention: don't worry?! ;-) You see, even if everything goes terribly wrong, you could still move to where your friend lives and get a dreadful job. But don’t do it till you have no CHOICE!! Give yourself some time to try. And have a little faith. Maybe there is a higher reason you are pulled towards PEI, well, I don’t know, you never know.
