Do you think the name 'river' is a boy or girls name?

I've never even thought of the word river as a person's name. I think I like it; but only for a girl. Your question reminds me of a poem by Robert Burns. "Flow gently, sweet Afton." Definitely feminine. Come to think of it, "Afton" is not bad either.
