Do u think if a person missed atleast 2mo. of school, they will still be able to p?

In public school they have quotas that say you have to be in school for so many days. Anything less and you will be failed. I went through this when my daughter was in first grade. She missed like 22 days of school due to strep throat and ended up having her tonsils removed, I had to go to the school board with the teacher and have her ped by a board there. My daughter did all her make up work and home schooled for the last 2 weeks of the year (due to her surgery). Because of the legitimate doctor's excuses she was ped only for me to take her out a year and a half later to start home schooling.
